The house of cards known as finance capital is becoming increasingly shaky. One indicator is the increasing loss of liquidity. This means that even minor financial contractions could lead to major financial turbulence. Another is the rate of inflation which is growing throughout the world. Finally, both the US and the European central banks are raising their interest rates in order to combat inflation. It is not working. A recession at this point seems inevitable.
