This is a good article to pass along to friends who know things are bad but do not have a structural understanding of why they are bad. The loss of jobs and the ruination of small businesses as a result of COVID are not the cause of misery in Yankeedom. Capitalism had deep problems long before COVID and will continue to have them after COVID is gone. COVID has simply amplified the misery that was already in place.
