Nabisco bakery workers in Chicago joined plant workers in Portland Oregon, Richmond Virginia and Aurora Colorado in striking for better working conditions. The conditions of the work-place and the hours of work resemble capitalist industries in the first half of the 19th century. A major difference is that the unions of today stand by and do nothing but collect dues and funnel them into the Democratic Party.
