Workers in Bolivia Can to Better than Evo’s Party

It is always tempting for leftists to focus attention on the doings of the right-wing and ignore their own weaknesses. However, in Bolivia the workers are demanding much more than Evo Morales’ party, Movement to Socialism (MAS) has given them. As the article points out, MAS continues to want to negotiate with the right-wing plotters. Furthermore, when it had power it rarely, if ever, called for workers’ power from below. Hopefully, this general strike will move workers considerably to the left of MAS.
