In Florence workers have taken over an abandoned factory and have lots of community support for doing so. Over the last month these workers have called for two demonstrations and attracted 30,000 people each time. What workers must do is figure out how to expand their struggle to include the people who supported them. They need to spread this beyond a local factory. They also need a political program where all claims and expectations of these groups are part of a plan. Another demonstration is scheduled today.
