Many leftists threw their hands up in exasperation at the timidity of labor union leadership in Yankeedom. But many don’t know about Labor Notes, an organization dedicated to uniting labor organizers from around Yankeedom with the motto “Putting the movement back in the labor movement”. These folks are down with rank-and-file labor ieadership.
In Chicago, in a little more than a month, a conference will be held with around 4,000 people expected. Over 100 meetings and workshops on strategies and tactics are planned. Included are art, music, poetry, posters and cartoons.
