This is a good interview with Michael Hudson about what is really going on between China and Yankeedom. George Soros wants to buy China the way the Yankees bought Russia through Yeltsin. Soros stupidly imagines that the Chinese need Yankee investment dollars. What is extremely interesting is that until very recently, according to Hudson, China treated Yankeedom as if it were still an industrial power. It is only recently (as a result of the Chinese rulers reading Volumes 2 and 3 of Capital) they see Yankeedom as a financial power that is doomed.
