This is a great article. Michael Roberts reviews the three depressions of capitalism, beginning in the early 19th century through today. He then describes how capitalism today faces two other major contradictions besides economic ones. The first is ecological, including extreme weather and COVID. He goes on to explain that there are geopolitical crisis about where the center of the world economy will be. Everything he says is backed up be empirical evidence.
