Trump’s Economic Nationalism Not New: Trade Blocs Coming for the West?
Trump’s economic nationalism is not his invention. It is a trend that has been going on since before his presidency. This article points out that global trade has significantly slowed down in the past few years and countries are instituting more trade blocs. The last time this happened was in the 1930’s which, in part, helped produce World War II.
