This article nicely summarizes the market fundamentalists’ reaction to the election of social-democratic governments in the past few years. But it looks like in Ecuador, social democratic policies will hang on. The title of the article is deceptive because the name “Lenin” is a common name in this country. It does not by any means imply that the candidate will implement the policies of the Russian revolutionary.
