According to the Bureau of Labor statistics 1.9 million people are out of work. One quarter are college graduates. This is the highest unemployment rate since the COVID virus hit.
The reasons for this are complex but part of it is because of Trump cutting federal jobs. The overall climate of economic and political instability affects people’s choices of work, given workers won’t know when their chosen field could dry up if Trump cuts funding even more.
