Titanic Shifts in Global Political Economy

This is a very thorough analysis of the shifting tectonic plates in the world political economy. First and most obvious is the decline of the United States as a reliable global actor. Second, the rise of the East in the form of China, Russia and Iran, a multipolar alternative.

Third, the decline in rule of authoritarian rulers and their loyal sheep. Fourth, the decline of both Judaism and to a lesser extent Christianity as religions worth following. Next there is the shock to the global economy by the closing of the Strait of Hormuz, leading to re-routing and higher prices for oil and food.  Further is the decline of the dollar and the rise of the yuan as a trading currency and last, the worsening of global security systems.
