All the way back in history, capitalists have hated the mention of social class. Since in a capitalist society supposedly everyone pulls themselves up by their own bootstraps there can be no external reason why some have more than others.
Liberals are color blind and sex blind, so by all means express yourself in different diversities just like the colors of the rainbow. All these diversities increasingly limit the perception of people that there is a structural, not individual basis for inequalities between rich and poor. Class is not another system of stratification to check off on a shopping list. It is the central dynamic on the job that creates surplus value to begin with.
