The Strings Attached to World Bank Loans

The World Bank is an anti nation-state loan agency.  It does not support the cultivation of domestic industry, whether it be farming or industrial production. It wants the global south to depend on Yankee farmers for their food.

It gives loans for plantation agriculture such as growing coffee and sugar. It gives loans for export products while it expects the domestic state to fund the mining and science that goes into these export products. The World Bank does not support science in the global south because those scientists might develop alternative resources to oil.
