Matthew Ehret discusses how the rise of the Frankfurt school shaped the New Left’s anti-science orientation, atonal music and abstract expressionism. This is coupled with the CIA funded Congress for Cultural Freedom which organized all left-wing anticommunists into an organization that claimed to challenge the Soviet orientation towards culture.
