Most people living in Mordor do not understand the capitalist system under which they live.
They probably hated their economics class as undergraduates because of its impracticality and abstractness. Emancipatory economics is a course that attempts to demystify economics and bring it down to everyday life. This course is part of a larger project involving workplace democracy and the solidarity economy.
