One of the things that comes out of challenging Starbucks owner’s “right to rule” is how terribly unimaginative they are. Their anti-union program has no variation in its tactics. Like P.T. Barnum – one size fits all. When workers in Mesa Arizona decided they wanted to form a union, they talked to workers in other Starbucks who had succeeded in unionizing so they knew ahead of time what to expect. All capitalists cannot imagine that workers have any collective creativity – and they are paying for it.
