Neoliberal Democrats are proving once again they are fascists. India is a right-wing Hindu fundamentalist party, one of whose goals is to restrict Muslim rights.
But the Neoliberal right-wingers couldn’t care less, as long as there is capitalist growth. Neither do they care that India is one of the most steeply unequal societies in the world. Lastly, anti-communist Neoliberals have a pipe dream that India will surpass China in economic growth rates. Michael Roberts goes into some detail describing why this is a ridiculous hope.
