Just like a realist John Mearsheimer now criticizes the futility of the war machine, so too, another Neocon, Sylvester Stallone jumps on the bandwagon.
While we agree that it’s better late than never to admit the existence of a war machine, Russell Dobular points out that Stallone was pro-war a lot longer than he claims. He uses a nice metaphor that it’s like John Wayne in old age admitting that after all, the Native Americans weren’t so bad. Have a look at this “anti-war” hero in previous movies.
