Putting Class Back in the Yankee Working Class: A 70 Year Review

Unbeknownst to many, anti-communism did not always exist in Yankeedom. Both socialists and communist parties were important fixtures in US politics less than a hundred years ago. The anticommunism of workers was a product of the Cold War and lasted for 60 years. However, since the Occupy Movement drove class back into the mainstream, workers and class power have been resurrected.
