Overcoming Decentralization of Worker-Coops: Thinking Big

Oftentimes the fact that coops are decentralized and small is looked upon as a virtue. What this misses is that coops may repeat the mistakes of other coops and not know it because there are no networks that could provide self correction. In this interview the author stresses the need for coop planning centers which promote a coordination of efforts before the coop is launched. The author calls for the coordination of international research into coops – and for coops to “think big” the way Mondragon has done in Spain.
