This is a very robust article on the power of propaganda in the news. Included is its history after World War I. We think the article doesn’t say enough about the processes of why some people are more susceptible to believing the propaganda than others. We would also like to know in which classes is propaganda more likely to succeed. If Jacques Ellul is still correct, the middle classes are most vulnerable to propaganda, not the working classes.
