In this interview with Ben Norton Michael Hudson points out some of the many contradictions in Trump’s foreign policy.
For example, he wants tariffs to reduce Mordor’s trade deficient but if he imposes tariffs he cannot expect to win back the dollar as the world’s currency. For Trump, international affairs is a zero-sum game of winning and losing. But maintaining that policy he cannot expect the global south to pay back its debts.
