It might surprise you to know that capitalists rip off workers in ways that are far beyond the 5 hours per day that Mark talked about. These include workers not being compensated for hours worked along with the violation of minimum wage and overtime laws. Capitalists also misrepresent workers as ” independent contractors” in addition to illegally taking deductions from workers’ wages. They also fail to abide by laws about workers’ breaks and these capitalists have also illegally confiscated worker tips. if you think these statistics are from fly-by-night small businesses, you will see the rip-offs are coming from the largest cooperations.
