As many of you know, teaching about racism in this country is being attacked by conservatives around the country. Whatever our criticisms of Critical Race Theory, it has penetrated into classroom discussions about racism in history and sociology classes, in high school and college. We cannot allow critical race theorists to fight alone. The article suggests attending parent and teacher association meetings and school board meetings to talk about the importance of discussing racism in history.
