On the surface it looks like the added temporary $400 a month to unemployment benefits, Trump’s moratorium on evictions and deferred student debt payments ease the burdens of working class people. They don’t. They are designed to get him through the elections, as Jack Rasmus points out. In addition, Rasmus suggests it is unlikely he will willingly leave the White House even if he loses the election.
