In Hundreds of Rallies as Postal Workers Strike Back

From big cities to small towns, postal workers organized hundreds of rallies across the country in the past week to defend one of the longest running public services in Yankeedom against privatization. The US The Post Office is  Yankeedom’s  largest union employer.

These rallies were organized from the bottom up, not from the top down. “This is my first rally – and it won’t be my last,” one worker told longtime Labor Notes editor Jane Slaughter.
