The Last serious European leader was Angela Merkel. Since then the European rulers in England, Germany and France have been extremely unpopular domestically and lacking in a clear economic policy.
Internationally, they have adopted an increasingly craven relationship with the United States despite being treated miserably by them. They are energy dependent on Russia but lack the nerve and vision to see Russia is the only country that could pull them out of the quicksand. Europe is sinking as a world power. What we have left are Mordor or BRICS.
