One of the many illusions of people who believe in the two party system is that there can only be one fascist party. But we currently have two fascist parties and they both benefit from divide and conquer strategies.
This plays out in class prejudices against race and gender issues. Divide and conquer also operates when people with race and gender issues ignore social class. Another major division, as this article points out, is between immigrants and natives. Overcoming divide and conquer techniques makes the working class stronger to fight against both capitalism and fascism.
