Crossroads for Europe: Chinese Dragon or Yankee Scarecrow?

For 75 years Europe has been in the hip pocket of Yankee rulers, beginning with the Marshall Plan. In return, Yankees have expected Europe to tow the line of supporting its endless wars and anti-Russian hysteria. But now times are different. With the U.S. showing a deeper and faster decline, it offers Europe less and less. Meanwhile, China and Russia offer energy and infrastructural projects. Will it be the EU that decides which way to go, or will it be individual nation-states?
