Looked at superficially it’s easy to think that coops would have a rougher time than small businesses, because coops have less capital to start with. It’s easy to think that because of its unconventionality, coops might have a more difficult time getting loans. Whether these things are true or not, worker-coops have done better during the pandemic than small capitalist businesses, despite working on the front lines of home-care and food supply.
