China’s Presence in Africa Much More than an Extension of The New Silk Road

Most of the positive news we see about China’s presence in Africa centers around extending the Belt and Road Initiative. But China is doing much more.

In addition to promoting regional integration in Africa they are also initiating something rarely seen in international relations. That is cross-regional bodies that attempt to cool out political and economic hot spots.
