All too many times we’ve seen picket lines with workers mindlessly marching around in a circle. Mostly they don’t look they are having fun as they hold up pre-made signs to an indifferent public. This article emphasizes how important it is for strikers to bring their collective creativity to the site of the picket in the form of picket sign parties with homemade signs. In addition, there is encouragement to write songs and practice dance moves on the line, wear costumes and have a parade to the strike site.
