Lula displays all the naivety and blindness of any centrist politician in the world who has no idea of what the stakes are in a world-capitalist crisis. He ridiculously imagines that the support of two tepid socialist parties is enough to defeat fascism. As this article points out, fascism has deep roots in the Brazilian military and isn’t going away anytime soon.
