Gaslighting and the Psychology of Mind Control

Gaslighting is the manipulation of someone using psychological methods to get a person to either doubt their sanity or reasoning process. This social-historical process began in England at the turn of the 20th century in the works of Huxley, H.G. Wells and Bertrand Russell. Cynthia Chung recommends the movie Gaslighting to see this mechanism in action.
