Not only does Amazon subject its workers to brutal working conditions, but now we’re learning that Amazon paid zero federal income tax in the United States. You and I, along with every other working U.S. citizen – including Amazon workers – have to pay federal taxes. Corporations have numerous ways of avoiding paying a penny to support the system that supports them. The money for infrastructure, education and support services all comes from us lowly working folks! Jeff Bezos is the wealthiest person in the U.S. – worth $112 billion. How about spreading the wealth, Jeff? Oh – that’s right – we live under capitalism!
