Against Malthus: Food Scarcity is Socio-Political Not Demographic

There is enough food produced on this planet for feed its 11 billion people. Yet 8 billion of them go hungry. Why is this?

There are many reasons for the acuteness of hunger, but none of them can be attributed to a lack of food due to population growth, as Malthusians, who believe that population growth outstrips food production, allege. Destructive wars and lack of money are two of the biggest reasons.
