A Nurse’s Hellish Tale of Working in Yankee Hospitals During Covid

How would you feel if you started a job and were not told beforehand where you would be assigned? What would your morale be like if you were working face-to-face with COVID patients while doctors talked to those same patients on the phone? How would you feel if you were forced by economic circumstances to keep on working? This story is one of many reasons why nurses are quitting the profession. Despite all this, becoming involved with a union saved this nurse’s job and gave her hope.
