In past years the World Economic Forum has been the international pom-pom cheerleaders for world capitalism. We think it is startling how they have made an about-face. They name many “polycrisis” from inflation to trade wars to “social unrest” to geopolitical confrontations. They also identify new levels of debt and the refusal of capitalists to invest in real goods and services. This is the world ruling class writing its own obituary.
