Women Incendiaries: 150 Year History of the Great Paris Commune!

Like Rosa Luxemburg, the entire spectrum of the left wants to claim the Paris Commune as their own. And why not?For 10 weeks Paris was governed under worker self-management. For political decisions they had mandated delegates who were rotated and subject to immediate recall. The Communards  reached out to other sectors in France to spread the revolt but were unsuccessful. The entire socialist left – from the anarchists to the Leninists to the social democrats – have a special place in our hearts for this great social experiment.
