The bottom line is that China does not need the United States trade. The US imports from China amount to 4% of their profits for 2025 which is projected to be 5% for 2025.
Meanwhile Chinese exports to the US have dropped 13.4% last year. China has deals cooking through the Shanghai Cooperative Organization and it hardly needs the US. In addition, China has recently cut off US access to rare minerals necessary for the US military. Looks like Yankee ingenuity will have to save the day. Don’t hold your breath!
