For us, Andre Gunder Frank and Giovanni Arrighi were right. The future world-system belongs to Asia. Gunder Frank made his prediction 25 years ago and it clearly is coming to pass. It is hard for us to understood why multipolarists like Russia, China and India are not moving more quickly to let the West collapse. This article doesn’t answer the “why” questions, but it does describe multipolarists’ hesitation.
