This article shows a decline in the current world working-class population compared to the second half of the 20th century. Some of the reasons have to do with Covid and the opioid epidemic. How will the capitalists deal with a decline in their workforce? Will robotics be the answer? The problem is that robots cannot buy the products off the shelf to make a profit for the capitalists.
