US-South Korea ‘War Games’ Can Lead to Nuclear War

While the U.S. population is focused on the coming eclipse and the emboldening of fascists all over the country, the military is quietly assembling 40,000 of its troops, along with those of South Korea, for its annual war games on the Korean Peninsula. These games start tomorrow, Aug. 21, last for 10 days and are designed to intimidate North Korea. Instead, they are escalating an already tense situation and moving us one step closer to nuclear war. In pretending to “make the world safe”, the U.S. is desperately trying to convince itself of its world hegemony. In fact, it has already lost its position as #1 and is only putting millions of innocent lives in danger of catastrophe.
