Thousands of Brazilian Teachers Strike Against State Cutbacks

According to market fundamentalists, Brazil is South America’s healthiest economy. But these economists do not understand that a healthy economy produces real goods and services. In the case of Brazil, their educational systems are among the lowest ranked. This actually also points out the lack of vision among the unions.
