This past weekend 4,700 radical labor organizers, both in and outside of unions, gathered for a lively 3-day conference.
Leading the article, there is a good overview of all the radical activities of working class people since spring of last year. There were 300 workshops, panels and meetings. These meeting were filled with organizing techniques from the very simple nuts and bolts to the very seasoned. The purpose of the Arts Labor Exchange was to encourage people to use these techniques on the picket line. There were two documentaries shown and 40 sessions were conducted in Spanish.
