Most of us know that the United States controls the United Nations. The World Bank and the International Monetary Fund is controlled by the United Nations. Therefore, the US controls both the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. The mission of both of these financial institutions is to end world poverty. But the real purpose is to keep colonial doors permanently open for foreign capital. This impacts the kind of loans peripheral countries will get. What will be the impact of the coronavirus on the IMF’s and the World Bank’s relations with the global south? It’s not a pretty picture.
