This article nicely summarizes the achievements and next steps for the Chinese State. Many of you know about their record of extreme poverty reduction. However, fewer people know about their mostly free healthcare system along with their zero toleration of Covid. Still fewer know that the life expectancy rate has gone from 71 to 79 in twenty years. Additionally, the Belt and Road Initiative has now built 6 maritime roads and new energy sources. This article presents an excellent overview of China’s financial achievements. What is missing is the absence of labor unions and the presence of workers’ strikes in China.
