It is hard to imagine that Sweden was once considered the most successful experiment in social democracy in the world. But even in its better days, Swedish social Democrats never supported the USSR as fellow socialists. Once neoliberalism set in during the 1980s, its governments have slid towards the right. Today it stands as just another European vassal of a decaying Mordor.
