Russia-phobia Runs Centuries Deep in Western Europe

Long before Winston Churchill proclaimed an Iron Curtain around Russia and long before the Russian revolution pulled Russia out of World War I, Western Europe was paranoid about Russia though Russia has never attacked Western Europe.

Today the European rulers would rather have their population freeze to death rather than buy Russia’s cheap natural gas. It is no wonder that geo-political analyst Alexander Dugin  has insisted that Russia considers itself a separate civilization rather than an extension of Europe.
